Who we are
About the department
The Department of Systems Biosciences and Computational Medicine was established in 2023 to foster interdisciplinary collaboration and advance the understanding of complex biological systems. Our mission is to integrate cutting-edge computational and experimental approaches to address fundamental biological questions and develop innovative solutions for human health.
The Establishment Project of the Systems Biosciences and Computational Medicine Program, Faculty of Medicine, was founded on May 10, 2023, to support the faculty’s Flagship Project in education (Project: Graduate Student Enrollment Expansion Plan). The program aims to enhance competitiveness among medical schools both nationally and internationally.
Associate Professor Nisana Namwat serves as the Head of the Establishment Project, with a total of six personnel, including five faculty members and one administrative staff member (a non-degree administrative officer allocated in the 2024 fiscal year).
